Sara Klein, MA, PLMHP,
is a therapist at our Scottsbluff and Bridgeport offices. She received her Bachelors of Science
degree in Psychology from Black Hills State University. She
then earned her Masters of Arts degree in Community Counseling
from Chadron State College. Sara is licensed
as a Mental Health Practitioner and working to become a registered
play therapist. She works with all populations, focusing
on children 2-10 and helping parents with parenting issues. She
also has experience working with teenagers. Previously,
Sara was the Assistant Director for the Upward Bound program
through Western Nebraska Community College. She worked
with teenagers from low-income families to achieve their hopes
of completing high school and continuing with their college education. She
worked with the college program Student Support Services, helping
students with academic planning, financial aid, career assessment,
and building personal skills. She has also been involved
with the TEAMMATES mentoring program as an assistant director
and mentor.
