Christina L. Baum, MS, LIMHP, PLADC received her Bachelor of Science degree in legal studies at Chadron State College in 2002. she then earned her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2011. Chris is licensed as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner and provisionally licensed as a Substance Abuse counselor in Nebraska. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and joined Options in Psychology, LLC in the summer of 2016.
Before she joined Options in Psychology, LLC, Chris worked as a Clinical Therapist at the Regional West Medical Center child and adult psychiatric unit for 6 years. She is experienced in crisis and trauma interventions, group, individual and family psychotherapy for a wide range of clients. Chris utilizes therapeutic approaches including crisis and relapse interventions, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy techniques, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Substance Abuse Therapy and Evaluations. She provides services for co-occurring disorders, mental health and substance abuse counseling for adult and adolescent clients. She specializes in adult men and women, adolescents (12 years and up), and family therapy.
